Bush. Su was at the US Capitol rotunda to represent President Tsai Ing-wen. Taiwans' top representative to the US Stanley Gao was also there. Both also went to Bush's state funeral at Washington National Cathedral Su says he also gave a letter of condolence (慰問) from President Tsai to former US President George W. Bush. ---- E*MOJ Seeking Draft Same-Sex Marriage Bill The Ministry of Justice plans to have a draft bill for same-sex marriage before March next year. They say the bill will follow the results of the November 24th referendum. Lawmakers have until May 24th next year to vote on a same-sex marriage bill. DPP lawmaker Yu Mei-nu says if lawmakers don't take action by May 24th, same-sex couples will automatically be able to register (注冊) their marriage at local household registration offices if they have two witnesses. ---- E*USA Gymnastics Files for Bankruptcy USA Gymnastics has filed for (申請) bankruptcy US correspondent Mary MacCarthy has more: < [CLIP] Slug: > ---- E*Dominican Republic Plastics Explosion A large explosion in the capital of the Dominican Republic has left 3 people dead and 44 injured. Officials say a boiler exploded and started a fire at the company. They say the fire is now under control (受到控制). Authorities are still looking for victims and trying to find out how the explosion happened. ---- E*Saudi Arabia Brazil Named Fossils of the Day Environmental activists are naming Saudi Arabia and Brazil as "fossils of the day". The Climate Action Network gave them the title at the United Nations Climate Conference. C-A-N says Saudi Arabia's UN representatives are going against efforts to slow down global warming.
