This comesa fter Taiwan started a visa-waiver (免簽證) program for Russian visitors. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs says Moscow is thinking about simplifying visa applications for tourists and business travelers. Both sides hope the change will hapen by the end of this year at the earliest. ---- E*Changhua Solar Park Goes on Online The island's largest solar energy park has started generating power (發電). Tai-Power says the park in Changhua County started producing electricity at noon Monday and created 14-megawatts. The site in the Changhua Coastal Industrial Park is still under construction. And Tai-Power says work will be completed by February of next year. Tai-Power says once it is done, the energy park will generate enough electricity for 30-thousand households. ---- E*UN Calls for Migrant Assistance for Mexico The United Nations has sent its personnel to help a group of Central American migrants traveling towards the United States. Our UN correspondent Liling Tan reports. < [CLIP] Slug: > ---- E*Congo Ebola Health Workers Attacked Congo officials say health workers trying to stop an Ebola outbreak are attacked three or four times a week on average. Just this past weekend, two health workers were killed, and aid group vehicles were hit with stones. Ebola containment (遏制) efforts have been halted for safety. There are now 203 confirmed cases of Ebola in this new outbreak, which caused 120 deaths. ---- E*Macedonia Name Change Lawmakers Get Security Macedonia's interior minister says extra police protection is being given to lawmakers who voted to chagne the country's name. The 80 parliament members are getting extra security after some got death threats. They supported a move to rename the country as North Macedonia.
