Police say the suspect attacked his mother and two of his aunts at their apartment late last night. One of the aunts died after being stabbed in the chest and back. The mother and other aunt are now in stable condition. According to officials, the family says the man has clinical depression. The case is still under investigation. ---- T*Taiwan hostage freed in Philippines Philippine police have freed a Taiwanese woman being held hostage in Makati City. The 31-year old woman was being held by 12 Chinese nationals running an online gambling business. She was released and the Chinese nationals were arrested and charged with kidnapping. ---- T*Architect Wang Da-hong obit And .... Architect Wang Da-hong has died at the age of 100. Wang's most famous design is the National Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall in Taipei. Wang was born in Beijing in 1917 and studied at Cambridge University and Harvard University. Wang's other building designs include the 1st Student Activity Center on the National Taiwan University campus and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs building. ---- US Missouri governor resigns From the US.... AP correspondent Ed Donahue reports. < [CLIP] Slug: > ---- Puerto Rico hurricane deathes A new study says more deaths than normal happened in Puerto Rico in the three months after Hurricane Maria. Researchers looked at a small neighborhood and estimates that up to 4-thousand-600 more deaths than usuall occurred (發生). They say many of these deaths happened because people could not get medicine or medical care.
