I'm ______ and it's time for Easy EZ News on ICRT. ---- T*Taiex update The Tai-Ex opened up 48-points this morning from yesterday's close, at 10,759 on turnover of 2.3-billion N-T. ---- T*MOFA warnining on passport stickers MOFA is warning the public (公眾) not to take off or make changes to a sticker on the new e-passports. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs says making changes to the sticker, which covers up a picture of Dulles International Airport, could mean passport holders won't be able to get on their flights. Dulles International Airport was mistakenly printed on 550-thousand copies of the new passport. Stickers are a cheaper way to solve the problem. ---- T*NTU stu call for stop to field rental NTU students want the school to stop renting out its athletics fields. The Department of Athletics rented out the field for a corporate event on New Year's Day. Student council president Lin Yan-ting says the area was damaged. School officials say they followed all regulations, and the damage was caused by a soccer match. But the student council president says the soccer match was cancelled because of bad weather. ---- T*Kinmen stores decorated with flags. And .... Kinmen's Mo-Fan Street has become popular with tourists from China. One side of the street is decorated with ROC flags. The other side is decorated with the flag of the P-R-C. This was the idea of local ceramic artist Wang Ming-cong. He says using the flags as art is a new way to draw tourists. ---- Peru bus crash At least 30 people were killed when a bus fell off a cliff in Peru. Officials say the bus was carrying 57 passengers to Lima when it was hit by a tractor trailer just before noon. It fell about 80 meters down the slope onto a beach. No roads lead directly to the beach, making rescue effots harder. Five survivors were taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. ---- Time's Up campaign A U-S pop culture expert sasy the "Time's Up" movement against sexual harrassment will bring about change.
