I'm ______ and it's time for Easy EZ News on ICRT. ---- T*Taiex update The Tai-Ex opened up 16-points this morning from yesterday's close, at 10,617 on turnover of 1.8-billion N-T. ---- T*Labor amendments see filibuster and protests DPP lawmakers tried to stop a review of proposed changes to the Labor Standards Act. They went to the legislative committee meeting room early to stop anyone from occupying (佔據、占領) the podium. Protesters against the changes are also gathered outside the Legislative Yuan. Police are on the scene to stop protesters from getting into the Legislative Yuan compound. Traffic restrictions are also in place in on roads around the Legislative Yuan. ---- T*NIA officials investigated for bribery National Immigration Agency officials are being investigated for bribery. Interior Ministry Information Center Director Shi Ming-de and former immigration agency section chief Chen Ying-jie are both being investigated. They are suspected of collusion and bid-rigging (操縱投標) for an automated border control system imported from China. ---- T*American wins Taiwan Longboard Championship And .... American Taylor Jensen won the Taiwan Open World Longboard Championship at Jin-Zun Harbor in Taitung. Jensen beat (打敗) Edouard Delpero of France. It was his third world title. ---- US Trump Flynn tweets U-S President Donald Trump says his former (前任的) National Security Adviser Michael Flynn did nothing illegal and has nothing to hide. They are checking the votes from 1,031 ballot boxes, where mistakes were found. People supporting opposition (反對的、對立的) candidate Salvador Nasralla are protesting. Fights between protestors and troops have killed at least one person. ---- Venezuela intros cryptocurrency and... Venezuela's president says his government will launch a cryptocurrency (加密貨幣). Nicolas Maduro says the new currency will be called "petro". It will be backed by Venezuela's oil, gold, and mineral reserves.
