I'm ______ and it's time for Easy EZ News on ICRT. ---- T*Tai-Ex opening The Tai-Ex opened up 32.6 points this morning from yesterday's close, at 10-thousand-717, on turnover of 2.8-billion N-T. ---- T*Air Force detects signal that may be from missing Mirage-2000 Officials may have a signal from a missing jet fighter. The ROC Air Force says the signal is similar (類似) to what would be sent from the black box of the Mirage-2000 fighter jet that went missing off northeastern Taiwan last Tuesday. The signal was coming from close to where the jet disappeared from radar. But the military is still not sure if the signal is indeed (確實) coming from the missing jet. The aircraft, piloted by Captain Ho Tzu-yu, took off at about 6p.m. on Nov. 7th on a regular training exercise, and disappeared about 90 nautical miles north-northeast of Keelung. ---- Iran Iraq earthquake Rescue efforts are continuing after a major earthquake in Iran and Iraq. More than 400 people were killed and more than 7000 injured. More than half the people killed were from a Kurdish-majority (多數、大部份) town in Kermansh province. The magnitude 7.3 quake was centered 31 kilometers outside the eastern Iraqi city of Halabja. Iran's government declared today as a national mourning day. ---- US Moore sex assault Over in the U-S.... Another Alabama woman is accusing (指責) Republican Senate nominee Roy Moore of a sexual assault when she was a teenager. AP correspondent Warren Levinson reports. < [CLIP] Slug: > ---- Brazil women abortion march and in Brazil.... Thousands of women marched in Rio de Janeiro to protest a government move to make all abortion illegal. Thousands of women marched through the streets of Rio de Janeiro to protest a recent congressional committee vote to make abortion illegal without exception in Brazil. Some scuffles broke out between protesters and police when the march reached the Rio state legislature. Police fired tear gas. Abortion is currently allowed in Brazil in cases of rape, a pregnancy that threatens a woman's life or a fetus with a birth defect involving the brain. But the congressional committee last week adopted a measure that would remove those exceptions. The measure is part of a constitutional amendment, so it would need a super-majority in both Congress' lower house and the Senate to become law. ---- 10AM Easy EZ News Outro That's it for Easy EZ News today.
