I'm ______ and it's time for Easy EZ News on ICRT. ---- T*Tai-Ex opening The Tai-Ex opened up 13-points this morning from Friday's close, at 10,311 on turnover of $1.7 -billion N-T. ---- T*Customs officials seize US$380,000 in cash at Taoyuan airport Officials confiscated (沒收) a lot of cash at Taoyuan Airport. Two people flying into Taiwan had $380-thousand U-S dollars in cash taken away by officials. They did not declare (申報) that they had the money in their luggage. Taiwan's Money Laundering Control Act says people coming into Taiwan can't have more than $10-thousand U-S dollars worth of money from other countries. The Act also says people can't carry more than $100-thosuand NT or more than $20-thousand Chinese yuan when leaving or coming into Taiwan. (PB) ---- T*Greenpeace apologizes for map error after Taiwan donations protest Greenpeace has said sorry for a recent map mix-up (混亂). The environmental organization promised yesterday to discuss the requests for donation cancellations, after Taiwan was shown as part of China in a Greenpeace report. Greenpeace has admitted the mistake and apologized for it. The organization is asking people to call or email them if they want to cancel their regular donations. The report was published on the Greenpeace website on July 5-th and made some people angry. They accused Greenpeace of not doing their job to focus on local issues, even though the organization gets a lot of support and donations from Taiwan. ---- Trump son met with Russian lawyer A U-S news organization said that the son of U-S President Donald Trump met with a Russian lawyer. The lawyer had said that she had damaging information about Hillary Clinton, who was the Deomcratic presidential nominee at the time. Kevin McAleese brings you the story from Washington... < [CLIP] Slug: > ---- Australia Vatican cleric sexual assault charges A senior Vatican (梵蒂岡) priest returned to Australia on Monday to go to court in his home state. Cardinal George Pell is being accused of sexually assaulting multiple people years ago. Pell, who is Pope Francis' top financial adviser, arrived at Sydney Airport on a flight from Singapore yesterday. The 76-year-old priest was asked to show up in a court in the Victoria state capital Melbourne on July 26-th. ---- Britain London market fire Dozens of firefighters are trying to put out a fire at Camden Lock Market. The area is a popular tourist destination in north London. The London Fire Brigade said 10 firetrucks and 70 firefighters had been sent to the site shortly after midnight Sunday. The fire started near Camden Stables. Officials say three floors and the roof of a building within the area were on fire.
